The founder

Francisco González

Francisco studied electrical engineering at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. Before founding FJ Electric Contractor he spent several years leading solar installations across the island: he sized the systems, directed the installation, and certified them.

With FJ he has led the electrical scope of commercial, industrial, and public-works projects, including a federal training center and a project for a municipality in the metro area, in both cases as a subcontractor to general contractors.

Today the company focuses on commercial, industrial, and public-works projects, with an in-house crew and licensed master electricians on the team.

How we work

Three commitments

Calculate before installing

Diagnostics, load calculations, and designs are done with engineering method before buying equipment or pulling cable.

Agreed in writing

Scope, price, and date are put in writing. If something changes, we tell you beforehand, in writing.

Closeout with documentation

We deliver the certifications and documents the agency, the insurer, and your operation need.

How we work

How we work a project

Site visit and scope

We review the drawings, loads, and site conditions. If there are no drawings, we survey the site.

Engineering and proposal

You receive the scope in writing, with schedule, submittal list, and a firm price.

Supervised execution

We install to NEC, coordinating with the general contractor, the facility manager, and each phase inspection.

Documented closeout

We deliver the as-builts and certifications and walk the finished work with you.

Send us the scope and we will prepare the proposal.
